About me
Pablo
I’m originally from Caracas, Venezuela, where I grew up until the age of 21. I was blessed with a loving family that gave me an amazing childhood and provided everything I needed to succeed.
Early on, my passion was politics—the idea of driving change and helping at scale fascinated me. But as democracy faded in Venezuela, so did my ability to make an impact without compromising my values or personal safety. The dreams I once had slowly slipped away.
Three major events shaped my decision to leave: the need to find a new professional path, the economic collapse of Venezuela, and the passing of my father.
Spain became my destination—an EU country with a shared cultural background where I already held citizenship. There, I earned a Master’s in Management in Madrid on a scholarship, a life-changing opportunity that opened doors to the world.
In the last four years, I’ve built my career across five countries and three continents—working in FP&A, Controlling, and Corporate Finance in Mexico, Panama, South Korea, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. Today, I work as a Global FP&A & Controller at Hilti Group, helping drive financial strategy and decision-making on a global scale.
This site is my online hub—a place where I share my journey, insights, and ideas on finance, career strategy, problem-solving, and leadership.
Welcome to my corner of the internet. Let’s learn, challenge ideas, and build something meaningful together.
